Sister Rose

Sister Rose, the one from Mindanao, is on her way to visit us here in Baguio City as we speak. Her family is having very difficult financial issues and they sent her to Manila to look for a job last week by ferry. She has a cousin there who was going to help her get a job. Sister Rose desired to find a job that would still allow her to wear the covering and dress modestly, but when she went to the interview, they wanted her to take the covering off and wear pants. So we suggested that she come here to be with us and look for a job where she won’t compromise the Faith. We will have her stay with our family, as we have an extra room. This will be a real blessing for all of us to get to know each other and grow in the fellowship of God’s Word. Please keep her in your prayers, as she looks for a job as a maid or live-in nanny.

I recently listened to a sermon by a man named Paul Washer, a man who woke up to the deception of Modern Christianity, and want to recommend everyone take the time to listen to it also. Just go to the blog-

Thank you for that End Times Apostasy link. Just added it to my favorites to review later. :)

I first heard of Paul Washer last year and I was blown away. His preaching is fantastic.
I got saved in a church with that type of preaching...blunt, to the point, and boldness. :)

I will pray for Rose.

I thought about it not too long ago that if something happens and my hubby becomes disabled or passes away and I had to take on a job, I am sorry, my faith comes first and I am not going to just toss aside my covering and dress for whatever reason places claim to have.

May you have a good rest of the weekend!

Blessings from TX,

Dawn
